Othello Tunnels

Situated near Hope at the foot of the Coquihalla Highway is the Othello Tunnels and the Kettle Valley Railway.  This is a pretty awesome place to visit to see the rugged BC landscape and learn a little about the its rich history. Tablelands

We drove to Port Douglas when leaving Cairns and then made way to the tablelands on the interior. The drive to Port Douglas was amazing and what I had hoped for the drive from Sydney to Cairns. Showers on the road

Our first RV destination of the trip was to and around New Castle.  The intention to camp cheaply meant being resourceful in finding places to sleep and shower.
